Cabinet De Geie

This small cabinet has been made in ‘Timmerloods’ (hammering hangar) De Geie in Hengevelde. In 1879 Roelof Hag bought the parcel where he built a working place in the years to follow. The hangar is a museum today. This cabinet is most likely made in the early years (for practice/training?): it shows adorable variations in the carving. The cabinet is in good restored condition. Bottom right one stick is missing at the side, see picture. For more info, see (Dutch): http://www.marceltettero.nl/Tubantia/2009april/DeGeie_Hengevelde.html.
