A piece of Enschede history: this enamel pendant originates from Café De Kater located at the Oude Markt in the city of Enschede. In the final quarter of the twentieth century the interior was renewed and the former objects went to auction. This lamp was bordeaux red at the time, which can only be seen from a tiny spot at one of the details. The socket, connection and wiring has been replaced: this industrial design pendant is all set for a bright future ahead (incl. LED globe)!
