This chair is made by ‘The Telescope Folding Company’ in the 1950s. The American company started in 1903 manufacturing campstools (nowadays know as the ‘Telescope Casual Furniture’). This type is called the ‘Director Chair’ en is still being made today. The name ‘telescope’ refers to the shape of the wooden parts. This chair had a good brush up and the fabric has been thoroughly cleaned (some minor discolorations, see pics).
