We bought this set of four handmade frames in an auction. They showed four postcards, two from a Munich print shop, two from Stuttgart, copyright 1934. Disassembly suggests that the frames are from the early 20th century. There were no surprises – maybe there is something slipped in between? Maybe the cards have been written on? By cleaning however, I noticed how neatly they have been made and how beautifully they aged. They come in four different sizes and the front is made of hand-carved window glass.
