Austria, Vienna, around 1900.
We bought this special antique mobile bar table in poor condition. We re-veneered parts of the legs and disassembled the frame. There are new wheels and a new key, as one of the casters had been broken and the key was missing. After a good cleaning, the table is put together and repainted. Not only the construction, also the brass parts turned out to be beautiful and intact! We also share a picture of the restoration process.
This antique table was made over a hundred years ago (around 1900) in Austria, in the capital city of Vienna. Only a few comparable Jugendstil bar tables are known. It is a mobile piece of furniture that, after turning the key, can be unfolded to present twelve exceptionally small (new) glasses (they swing in their holders). There is also room for decanters and other bar utensils such as lemon slices, cocktail sticks and stirrers.
